Celebrate the 4th of July as we look at the true meaning of Freedom and how to live by faith. From the perspective of the founding fathers to the sheer wonder of imagination born in the mind of a child. This 2 part series will lead us into CSI Sunday, July 18th.

BLOCKBUSTERS 
Every Summer Hollywood releases Blockbuster movies that we are encouraged to see more than once.  Whether it is Action/Adventure, Drama, or Romantic Comedy, these films are not only entertaining, but also provide great opportunities for spiritual discussions.  We will look at several of this summers blockbuster films to round out our summer teaching series.

Life In the FAST Lane.
This is a six week series anchored in the spiritual disiplines of Fasting, Prayer, and Bible Study.

Help Heal The World
An Eight Week Compassion series focusing on Matthew 25.  This series will kick-off our Small Group Ministry for the Fall Term and lead us into the Christmas season.

Whats Happening?

Waterland Basketball Academy
 July 12-16th 9am - noon
This awesome camp for students in grades 1 - 6 begins at 9:00am to noon, and will kick off our summer sports outreach. Students will learn ball handling, passing, shooting, and defensive skills along with the values of community, sportmanship, and integrity. Cost is only $35 per child (Scholarships available!!!)

CSI Fridays
This is a sports outreach to the kids in our community every Friday from 11am to 1pm beginning late July, which features basketball, soccer, football and PIZZA! We are looking for volunteer team members to assit with this 10 week program. Email us at waterlandchurch@waterlandchurch.org and write CSI to sign up.

Here is a great opportunity to invite your friends! We plan to arrive when the doors open, take over the front row, and prepare for a great outdoor movie extravaganza. Bring loungers, pillows, blankets, frisbee, board games and your own favorite food and let's have a great time together.
